Exercises:

Each week (except the last week), starting on 04.09.2012, there will a sheet of exercises. All participants are advised to work out the exercises. They are integral part of the course. They complement the lectures by giving examples, and they give the chance to work yourself through typical arguments.
There will be 12 or 13 sheets altogether. Each will be worth 16 points. Up to two people can submit solutions together, at the beginning of the Tuesday lecture one week later. On the same day, in the exercise session official solutions will be discussed.
The students' solutions will be corrected and given back one week later, at the beginning of the exercise session.
In order to be allowed to take part in the exam, one has to reach 12 times 8 = 96 points in the exercises.
